What it does

This model identifies cell line names in English clinical text, such as from the CLL corpus of 2,156 documents. It reports an F1 score of 0.958 on the benchmark test set, with precision of 0.926 and recall of 0.991.

Best for

  • Cell line extraction from oncology notes
  • Clinical research document mining
  • Biomedical literature entity annotation

Note on the model card. Cell line name recognition in clinical text (CLL corpus, 2,156 documents; label CL = cell line). The model card's 'chronic lymphocytic leukemia' wording is a misreading of the corpus name; see the OpenMed paper, Table 1.
